About This Document
This official document presents the outcomes of B20 Brasil 2024, hosted by the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry, or CNI. Under the theme "Inclusive Growth for a Sustainable Future," it consolidates the perspectives and recommendations of the international business community in response to major global economic challenges.
The recommendations are organized around five guiding claims:
Promote inclusive growth and combat hunger, poverty, and inequality.
Accelerate a fair net-zero transition.
Increase productivity through innovation.
Foster the resilience of global value chains.
Enhance human capital.
The communiqué incorporates the work of seven Task Forces and one Action Council, resulting in 24 policy recommendations. It covers trade and investment, employment and education, energy transition and climate change, digital transformation, finance and infrastructure, integrity and compliance, sustainable food systems and agriculture, and women, diversity, and inclusion in business.
